What does manually handling
your customer requests cost you?

Enter four figures: the calculator estimates the time and cost of manual handling, then your gain with Orkest Order.

Your assumptions

An assumption to adjust to your request types and formats. As an example, Porcelaine Girard reports having automated more than 80% of its customer orders.

Your estimate

Requests per month
Hours of handling per month
Monthly cost of manual handling
Hours freed up per month
Estimated monthly saving
Suitable plan
Net monthly gain, after subscription
Setup paid back in (days)

At this volume, manual handling remains inexpensive: automation becomes worthwhile with more requests or longer handling times.

An indicative estimate based on your assumptions; it does not constitute a guarantee of results.

How the calculation works

  • Requests per month = requests per day × working days.
  • Cost of handling = requests per month × minutes per request ÷ 60 × hourly cost.
  • Saving = cost of handling × share of requests automated.
  • Net gain = saving − subscription for the plan that suits your volume; the setup fee (€290) is compared with this gain.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered.

What handling time per request should I use?

Time a few representative requests, from opening the email to validation in the ERP. Long orders or those with many lines often push the average up.

Which hourly cost should I use?

Use the fully loaded cost of your sales admin team: gross salary, employer contributions and workstation costs, divided by the hours worked.

Does the calculation include the cost of errors?

No. Entry errors (returns, credit notes, disputes, delays) are not counted: the real gain is often higher than the estimate.
